Great read and intriguing. The Wings have three players mentioned that could possibly be moved at the DL. If Stevie moves all three he would be a very cunning GM. Personally i hope Glending at 31 gets a shot at the Cup this year, he’s a player that constantly grinds it out.
One name that wasn’t mentioned is Ryan Getzlaf. The rumors are clear that he doesn’t want to exercise his NT but why wouldn’t any NHL player in there later years want another stab at the Cup? I’m not taking a shot at Getzlaf but what’s up with that. Has he gotten complacent and lost his fight.
He’s been loyal to the Club and visa versa but i would wonder if i were the management that maybe he is just going through the motions now?
